The Idea
A ceiling that should not read as a ceiling. A private office in Houston, painted in August 2026 — the room finished around the mural, not the other way around.
The Build
The walls went black and the crown molding went gold. Then the ceiling, worked from a ladder around the light and the vent: a spiral galaxy, star to star, until the tray read as deep space.
The Result
Houston. A private residence. Black walls, gold trim, and a galaxy overhead.
